Our process
Step 1: Complete the "Take Action" interest form
Take the first step by clicking the Take Action radio button or simple scroll to the bottom of any of our pages and complete the contact form. That lets us know you're serious about recovery and to connect with you asap.
Step 2: Phone Screen
Someone from our organization will contact you to discuss your needs to see if we are a good fit for you. We will let you know if there are any available beds, as well as answer any questions you may have about either the process to get started, or living within our sober living recovery home in general. This initial screen is a brief phone conversation about you and what we have to offer you.
Steps 3 & 4: Facility Tour & Application
Prior to agreeing to stay at our residential sober living recovery home, we encourage you to schedule a time to visit the home so you can see the living accommodations, talk to staff, and get a first hand feel for how we can support your recovery. If you decide you want to call us home for a time, you can fill out an application there while taking the tour.
*Out of respect for the current house members and to ensure safety, we do not conduct walk-in tours. All visits to our residential sober living recovery home need to be pre-announced and scheduled.
Step 5: Application Review & Screening
Once received, our staff will review your application. This typically is done within 24-48 hours of submittal. From there we contact you and conduct your admissions screening. This is nothing more than an in-depth conversation about your recovery journey, but it begins to lay the foundation for your individual continued recovery plan.
Note: While we are a transitional home in a sense, we are not a half-way house. Our residence are those seeking a recovery from alcohol and/or drugs. We do not admit individuals who are active in their addiction. We require a minimum of 7 days sober prior to admissions. We conduct drug & alcohol screens on all incoming new house members prior to licensing a room and moving in.
Steps 6: New Member Onboarding!
Once you've completed the application, admissions screening, and drug screening you're set to sign the room licensing agreement, pay for admissions, and move in!
There are some requirements for living at our sober living recovery home that we will review with you during the application and onboarding process. We will also review them with you during your onboarding to ensure you are set up for success in recovery.
